NEEDS OF ATTENTION

mas alla de las ideas esta el sentimiento humano por el semejante. es lo que lleva a un joven a ayudar a cruzar la calle a una viejita. lo que impulsa a alguien a tirarse al agua para salvar al desconocido que se ahoga. esta señora, por la razon que sea, esta exponiendo su vida. si bien el gobierno cubano puede decir que ahora le respeta su decision, antes no respeto la de otros o la de ella misma. o sea, que cada cual respeta lo que le conviene. asimismo la prensa de miami se limita a narrar, con precision macabra -porque le conviene- el estado de salud de esta mujer. si somos tan indolentes que presenciamos una muerte como si estuvieramos en el circo romano, no hemos avanzado nada en 2 mil años. podemos tocar el cielo y virar la tierra, si empezamos a protagonizar la historia, no a presenciarla.

por lo tanto, si sabemos que los irresponsables pandilleros politicos de ambas orillas son los culpables de este incidente tragico...

• 1.los elementos serios del gobierno cubano tienen la responsabilidad civil de hospitalizarla, para salvarle la vida.
• 2.los profesionales serios de la prensa de miami tienen la obligacion social de usar el canal de la comunicacion para el bien humano, no solo como entretenimiento y un modo mas de mercado. y deben exigirlo en editorial.

beyond the ideas, there's the human feeling by the others. this's what leads to a young man to help an old woman crossing the street. is what drives someone to jump into the water to save the stranger who is drowning. this lady, for the whatever reason, is exposing her life. although the cuban government can say that now is respecting her decision, before hasn't respected others' or hers'. in fact, everyone respects by convenience. the miami press is also limited to narrate, with macabre precision -by convenience- the state of health of this woman. if we are so indolent that we're witnessing a death as if we were in the roman circus, have not moved anything forward over 2 thousand years. we can touch the sky and fold this land. if we start starring the history, not witnessing it.
