havana ferry recibio la aprovacion de la o.f.a.c. y es la clave de la bronca que ha hecho caer par de firmas charteadoras. esta compañia, con 2 americanos y 1 cubano inscritos como dueños, es la que creo la decantacion de los charteadores vivian mannerud y john cabañas por su oposicion y sabotaje a la misma, no los pagos atrasados de los mismos, que cuba siempre supo llevar y controlar. incluso todavia el ferry florida-habana tiene en broncas internas a la llamada industria de los vuelos. los charteadores no estan de acuerdo con esa nueva via, porque esta claro, es un competidor mas. y aunque no lo es de manera numerica lo es en sustancia: son mas atractivos porque se puede llevar el automovil para pasear por la habana y por toda cuba, como antes de 1959. al principio seran viajes cayo hueso-habana porque el ferry solo llevara productos. despues saldra desde port everglades, con pasajeros y vehiculos de transporte. primero semanales y poco a poco, casi diarios. no se me esta permitido revelar todavia los nombres de los dueños y algunas intimidades. pero es una industria aparte. y de ahi, parte todo el dilema actual. lo que nos enseña todo esto es que esos lemas de 'unir a la familia cubana' y 'tender puentes'... son falsos. a la industria de los vuelos le importa un carajo la familia, solo el dinero. si les importara, le dieran el visto bueno al ferry tambien. y el final esta por ver.©varela
