en cuba, en mi tiempo, le decian 'cuadrado' a alguien por 2 razones: la fisica y la mental. estar cuadrado del cuerpo para los hombres era estar hecho un mulo, pero para las mujeres era ser un tamal, sin cintura. se decia:
'bitico esta cuadrado, no hay por donde entrarle'... 'margarita se ha puesto cuadrada, la pobre'. pero el peor calificativo de cuadrado era el mental:
'cuidado con el jefe del partido, que es un cuadrado'. eso significaba que el tipo era cerrado del güiro, gente de idea fija. por eso se me ocurre que el conocido espacio de la tv cubana,
'la mesa redonda', tiene un titulo ironico porque todo lo que se expone alli es de cuadrados. ahora en un programa analizando a miami, encabezado por randy alonso y reynaldo taladrid, que son expertos de miami gracias a un libro de luis ortega y al cuchicheo de max lesnik, acaban de decir lo siguiente de joe garcia: '
no pensemos que joe garcia es mejor… lo unico que se paso al bando contrario en esta mafia'. aqui, ademas de cuadrar la mente, le roncaron las pelotas de los cojones. joe garcia en miami es atacado por los tonto ultras como castrista por estar contra el embargo y a favor de los vuelos a cuba; y entonces en cuba dicen que no es mejor que los tonto ultras sino que esta en el otro bando de la mafia. es decir, la mafia tiene, para ellos, un bando malo y otro peor. tratando de interpretar esta cuadratura del circulo, imagino que lo dicen porque a garcia lo apoyaron jorgito mas santos y pepe hernandez, enemigos del castrismo, pero a la vez distanciados de las posturas extremistas de ninoska, gus machado, seso hueco
perez roura y los politicos republicanos locales. aunque todos, incluyendo a huber matos, cogen tajadas del pastel del u.s.a.i.d. junto a angel de fana, fernandez trujillo, el bizco gutierrez y montaner el bueno. y por eso vemos que entre los grandes teoricos oficialistas -enrique ubieta en la punta- salen con que la derecha miamense crea su propia izquierda como estrategia contra cuba. pero ahora, ironicamente, del mismo modo ellos crean su propia derecha como estrategia contra miami, al atacar a joe garcia de esa manera. garcia sera un politico que, como todo norteamericano, no puede romper con la alianza que lo llevo al congreso y votara contra la dictadura castrista abogando por elecciones democraticas pero siempre sera favorable a transiciones, espacios politicos, libre comercio, vuelos sin restricciones e intercambio cultural entre estados unidos y cuba, miami incluida. visto asi, el interes del gobierno cubano no es reconocer amigos sino multiplicar enemigos. un truco para evadir soluciones y perpetuar una posicion. por ejemplo, richard nixon se fue a tomar te a china -ping pong de por medio- y vodka a polonia a mediados de los 70. y a la larga dio sus frutos porque dejo a los rusos con menos parque ante ronald reagan, que despues de intimidar al kremlin con algo que no existia (la guerra de las galaxias), se sento a negociar con ellos. pero todo lo contrario hizo despues bush el ñame tras la caida del comunismo. en un mundo globalizado se dedico a inventar un eje del mal y alli meter todos los paises que le convenian, hacer listas negras y ampliar la membresia de la maldad, para extender su mandato a 8 años y asi ayudar a socios financieros. entonces, imitando las peores tendencias politicas (basadas en intereses economicos), apelando a una guerra fria que ya no existe, el gobierno cubano apuesta a la confrontacion hasta el final. la confrontacion lo mismo es mediatica en internet que fisica reviviendo el terrorismo miamense. y el final, como no hay sucesion de poder, es la muerte. asi que tomando en cuenta la edad, esta bien cerca.
entonces cuando eso suceda no pensemos que randy y taladrid son mejores... lo unico que se pasaron al otro bando del gobierno cubano.
