la prensa de miami mas sinvergüenza no puede ser. el periodico, la radio, la tv. se pasan la vida resaltando lo que dicen sus duros politicos (ileana ros, marco rubio, diaz-balart y david rivera) en asuntos foraneos (cuba, venezuela, mundo arabe) pero no lo que hacen en la economia domestica. ahora mismo hay una diferencia entre ellos por el abismo fiscal y no la reportan, mas bien la ocultan con dosis de falso 'bipartidismo'. el fiscal cliff (tax gap) traducido como abismo fiscal -que nadie entiende pero dicen entender, como en el cuento de andersen decian ver el traje del rey- es la escision abrupta entre el incremento de impuestos y el recorte de gastos donde tiene que ver hasta el precio de la leche y la extension del cheque del desempleo. los republicanos lo necesitan -cada vez mayor- para crearle caos a obama. por eso el speaker del congreso john boehner cabildea disgustado porque el senado es de mayoria democrata y la camara de representantes, con supremacia republicana, voto el 1 de enero por evitarlo. para mi es una tonteria que estados unidos le de prioridad a reducir el deficit contando con el congreso, lo cual significa siempre guerra partidista, y por tanto, dilatacion del deficit. primero porque puede eliminarlo sin muchas complicaciones debido a la baja presion fiscal. segundo, porque no tiene problemas de financiamiento; estados unidos se presta dinero el mismo, porque en si es la banca mundial y es una idiotez pedirle prestado al fondo monetario internacional porque wall street es quien mantiene a la vez a esa institucion mundial. seria como en una casa cuando el padre le presta dinero al hijo y el hijo se lo devuelve con un prestamo de la madre. y tercero, la economia de mercado se remonta sola porque depende unicamente del mercado, no de planificacion alguna. pero esto es tan hipocrita, tan falso, la formula es tan truquera, que con solo elevar el limite del deficit ya se acaba el abismo fiscal. en sentido figurado vealo asi: imagine un acantilado frente al mar y que el nivel del agua suba, tal abismo desaparece. este pais debe intentar, de una vez por todas, eliminar el requisito de tener que aprobar el techo de la deuda en ambas camaras porque nunca se aprueba debido al conflicto partidista. es absurdo votar por presupuestos en la nacion americana. pero no se asusten que lo que digo es casi lo que propone obama y lo que aprueban incluso muchos republicanos. es que todos los republicanos lo saben pero ahi es donde se desenmascaran: por mantener la confrontacion contra los democratas, votan contra el bienestar de su pais. la politiqueria puede llevar a u.s.a. a una suspension de pagos porque no quieren llegar a un acuerdo, no porque no puedan pagar sus facturas. esa es la realidad. por lo pronto, es hora de que se diga la verdad en miami: nuestros politicos anticastristas votan con obama, si, ese mismo por el que voto chavez y mariela castro, que queria socialismo y ponerle un chip a cada cual debajo de la piel.
