Todos los desordenados, los borrachines, los desorientados siempre tienen una justificación para sus estupideces. En el caso de los cubanos, y Pepito es uno de ellos, era el sistema que los alienaba. La droga eran las vallas de propaganda y los discursos de Fidel. Ahora entiendo porque hay tanto atolondrado en Estados Unidos. Porque es que hay tanta valla publicitaria en las calles, plazas y parques de ese país. De todo tipo: anunciando casas, autos, adivinos, bancos, créditos para los que pueden y para los que no, bares, restaurantes, politiquería barata, patrioterismo, convocatorias para alistarse en el ejército, la marina, la policía, el FBI, alabando la grandeza de Dios redentor y divino, lo excepcional que es ese país, niños desaparecidos, delicuentes reclamados por la justicia, candidatos para el Congreso, la Cámara y la Presidencia, la esperanza y el cambio prometido por Obama en sus primeros cuatro años y la falta de una y del otro que se ven venir en los próximos cuatro, tarifas eléctricas de una y otra compañía.NOTA AL PERSONAL:
Mientras en la televisión es una valla publicitaria con lo mismo que se publicita en las de las calles, plazas y parques. Y todos los días aparece un político diferente y un analista, político o económico, diciendo lo mismo o lo contrario de lo que ha dicho durante años. Y adivinos como Walter Mercado y reverendos religiosos multimillonarios que les hablan del Dios divino que ha bendecido esa tierra. Y no faltan los discursos constantes de políticos demócratas y republicanos, hablando de sus campañas y legislaciones y sus planes para atacar a éste país, desestabilizar a aquel otro o desmembrar a un tercero. Y hablar de la democracia y los derechos humanos que predominan en ese faro de la libertad llamado USA.
Me puedo imaginar, Pepito Grillo Varela, que la cosa sea seria y ya no sólo fumes hojas de campana.
